-Where's Rivendell?: I don't know how many times and in how many ways it has already been said-- we want it! Therefore I think the poll is better served to move beyond that conclusion.


OFFICIAL LIST
Descriptions by Daniel Falconer/Weta

Barad-dur
Large piece, including the sunken molten moat and a portion of the rock face onto which the fortress is built.

Minas Tirith
A newly sculpted, larger version of the city with more detail, perhaps including more of the hallows.

Rivendell
Likely focusing on one or a small number of the central buildings of Rivendell, as the full settlement is sprawling, nebulous and potentially difficult to realize.

Caras Galadhon
Possibly a wall-mounted collectible, focusing on one or a number of the elegant Elven buildings seen amid the Mallorn bows?

Grond
A large miniature depicting the full battering ram, drawn by great beasts.

Green Dragon Inn
The local drinking establishment and one of the few above ground dwellings in Hobbitton.

Zirakzigil
A smaller piece depicting the Dwarf-crafted mountain-top tower where Gandalf’s epic duel with the Balrog came to its climax.

Elven White Ship
The elegant Elven ship that carried the Ringbearers west from the Grey Havens at the close of the Third Age.

Black Ship of the Corsairs
An intricate miniature of one of the black-sailed ships from Umbar, hijacked by Aragorn and sailed up the Anduin to Minas Tirith.

Cirith Ungol
Likely not an enormous piece, depicting the tower guarding the passage into Mordor.

Minas Morgul
A new, larger sculpture of the city of the Wraiths with more detail.

Black Gate
Likely a similar size and shape to the Helm’s Deep collectible mini environment.

Orc Siege Tower
An intricate collectible depicting one of the siege towers used to assault the lower level of Minas Tirith.

Orthanc (Pre-ruin)
A possible companion piece to the existing ruined Orthanc collectible, this possible miniature would depict the tower and its grounds in pristine condition prior to Saruman’s destructive industry.

Osgiliath
A low, sprawling collectible depicting the ruins of the overrun city of Osgiliath, probably not the whole city as this would be very large and flat, but concentrating on the most recognizable central section.

NON-OFFICIAL LIST
As there were more poll slots and Tim encouraged adding options, here are 6 options culled from your wishlists from the many environment discussions we've had here that I thought were most viable. Descriptions by me (CharlesSong)

Doors of Durin
Speak 'friend' and enter. The moon-lit west gate of Moria where the company encounters the Watcher.

Balin's Tomb
A major set piece in FOTR that seems fitting for a collectible similar to Amon Hen in dimension.

Mt. Doom
Too iconic to ignore? Would also serve as a natural companion to the above Barad-dur (should it be made)

Grey Havens
Although touched upon in the offical list above with the Elven ship, it would seem to contain little to no 'environment'-- therefore this is the option for those who want a more expansive look at the Grey Havens.

Moria Cemetary
Cons: niche; Pros: already sculpted!

Hobbiton Mill
Of course, I couldn't forget those who are still desperately praying for this-- if you really do still want this more than any of the above, vote!
