District 9 Weapons [Arc Generator, Gas Projector, Assault Rifle]

Looks like we might be seeing some D9 polystone and collectibles in the near future!

See the Weta Workshop Facebook Page - someone posted asking about if they will be making them and Weta replied with "funny you should say that... :-)"

What pieces would people like to see? I think a line of D9 rayguns would be cooler than the Dr. G ones. Plus, an exo-suit polystone collectible would be cool.

However, I would personally LOVE a Prawn statue of Christopher Johnson with little C.J. standing at his feet looking up at him - that one I'd definitely have to buy!

Heresy aside, a range of guns would be awesome, specially in 1:4 scale, & yes, probably appeal to a larger market then Dr G's

yeah the Dr. G ones are cool, my friend has about five of them - I just wish they had made a series of online webisodes or something cool like that to give them some context instead of being standalone. would be awesome because it would be an example of a collectibles line actually being the thing that started a film/short film project - power to the designer!

I was a bit gutted they never released Jamie Beswarick's amazing "Shadows" line, a TV series or online/animated series based on all those awesome creatures would have been hella cool!

I think the Dr G universe & the Femme Fatale go together hand in hand, after all, the Moon Mistress is immortalized with Cockswain in the Weta cave statue.

Ok, the hand in hand bit did sound a bit poncy. But hey! Steampunk is all about rayguns & corsets, no?

The two sculpts I saw were definately creepy/good.
