Well, I don't care for Zorro either, but I'm a pretty big Doctor Who fan.

I mean having all 10 Doctor's as Polystone or the likes of Sarah Jane Smith would be so cool.

I used to like Dr. Who a lot. Just the current series bores me, I've stopped watching it. They've run out of good weird stories, IMO.
One of these days I'll be getting myself a Dalek though.

Didn't like the first season of the new series, liked the second season with the "new" doctor, not so sure about the new season. Got pissed off at the end of last season when the separated the doctor and the woman (forget her name) for good.

While there are a few I wouldn't mind from the current season, its more the classic series that I'd want.

So really its all about the details now, will it cover both old and new series, what will be first, will it be 1/6 scale like the LOTR ones (which I assume it will be), when will the first ones ship, etc, etc. I'm just dying to hear the details.

But I fear any more info will not come till Comic-Con, thats another month away

If by next series I assume you mean 3, with David Tennent and new Companion, Martha Jones.
As such, the series final will air in the UK this saturday, June 30th.

The series is about to start (tonight) in Australia, I'm not sure when Canada and USA are scheduled, but I don't think it would be far away.

And yes, a Rose statue would be rather nice

I noticed I was right about Comic - Con, the new line will be detailed a bit before (like we don't already know what its about) and on the first day of SDCC, the first 4 items will be on show, with pictures, etc on web sites and all that the following day.

So, 20 more days to go, its going to be a long wait

You only have 43 years to catch up on, it first started in 1963, tho its the new series that started in 2005 which is what all the current buzz is about.

I'm afraid this line is going to be as succesful as the Sideshow Star Trek line.
Dr. Who does have a fairly large worldwide fanbase but, like Trekkies, those are usually not the kind of people that are spending lots of $ on high-end collectibles.
