What is this all about, I must know!

[[Artist Proof]] Collectiblog is a blog about collectibles and collecting. Why? Because there isn’t really one like it. Not that I was aware of, anyway. So I started one in July 2007. The idea was partly inspired by my meeting with Weta employee Rachel Service– the famous “Weta Bug” at Comic-Con.

We do tend to heavily feature Sideshow and of course, our namesake, Weta. If for no reason other than those are my main areas of interest. Other than that, if it’s cool, I write about it.

Who is that lady in the header?

It is a life-size Moon Mistress (and Lord Cockswain) statue Weta created for Greg Broadmore’s Raygun line. It was on display at Comic-Con. Now you know.

How do I get my own snazzy personalized avatar next to my comments?

Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and follow the dead easy instructions. So named for being ‘globally recognized avatars’, they are just that. They not only work here, but show up on any other blog you comment on (providing they enable gravatars on that blog). Recommended!
