The lone debut from Cinemaquette at Comic-Con this year, they compensated for the lack of new statues (Bruce Lee and the Godfather are 2008 repeats) by building a tremendous amount of buzz on the back of the Christopher Reeve Superman. They did a good job with the likeness, and the hair even looks good for the most part. Though the fly-aways are troubling– if the CM crew themselves cannot contain them, it may prove to be an arduous task for the customer.

The pose selection and execution are also well done, though the base is incredibly plain. The color of the costume also may need some further adjustment, though I will rightly leave it to the experts on just what and how.

    great, chunk.

Its design is perfect (just stand in one small touch point) and hair & brow are close to real even it can be counted:).

Best work except I just felt a little little “dark” on his face! May hair is not fixed.

Likeness is good, but I’m not a big fan of the costume – especially the emblem/logo on his chest. It looks cheap, but it might be true to the original costume for all I know :)

This is a mistake, the red cape supposed to have a yellow s logo. But there’s no logo at the cape. Try to watch Reeve Superman movies and you can see that there’s a yellow s logo at the back of Supermans cape.

I believe CM has stated that the logo will be added. This is a prototype afterall. So cheer up buddy!
