SDCC In-Depth: Boba Fett And Carbonite Han
Posted by: Charles Song in Comic-Con, Gentle Giant, tags: photography, SDCC, Star WarsHigh resolution pictures direct from the show floor of Comic-Con 2008 featuring the Boba Fett, Stromtroopers and Carbonite Han Solo diorama from Gentle Giant. A great overall composition with the incorporation of the floating element, make this an incredible strong piece. Pretty much everyone loves to see Han suffer.

I’m really diggin’ this piece. I’m not a big fan of GG due to their relentless exclusives, but this piece manages to capture a memorable scene from ESB perfectly.

I’m impressed. And I typically avoid GG like the plague. (That scout trooper on his speeder bike? Ugh.
Reminded me of some 80s high school punk lounging on the hood of his ‘78 Trans Am.)

I do not know anything about GG and don’t care, but this an impressively realistic looking piece. GG got this memorable scene from ESB right!

But… ¿what’s the size of the statues?, ¿12″ or smaller?…

Abel: These are smaller than 12″
I don’t remember the exact size as I think there weren’t any signs saying what scale they where in. But my guess would be about 8″-9″ tall.
